Alejandra is a Mi’gmaq and Denesuline motivational speaker, facilitator, and emerging leader who inspires audiences through conversations on Indigenous youth leadership, mentorship, and two-eyed seeing. Grounded in both Indigenous and Western ways of knowing, her work encourages people to lead with care, balance, and responsibility to community.

With a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health, Alejandra brings a unique perspective that connects wellbeing, leadership, and cultural identity. Raised as an Urban First Nations woman while maintaining strong ties to her Indigeneity, she draws on lived, academic, and professional experiences across education, clean energy, and Indigenous economic empowerment.

Through storytelling, mentorship, and dialogue, Alejandra invites audiences, especially young people, to lead with love, uplift one another, and help shape stronger futures for their communities.

Emerging motivational speaker on Indigenous youth leadership, two-eyed seeing, and mentorship Alejandra Metallic-Janvier (she/her) is a Mi’gmaq and Denesuline motivational speaker, facilitator, and community leader who brings a powerful two-eyed seeing approach to her work, honouring both Indigenous and Western ways of knowing.
With a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health, she is passionate about cultivating healthy, grounded leadership through our relationships with ourselves, our communities, our cultures, and the natural world. Raised as an Urban First Nations woman while remaining deeply connected to her Indigeneity.
