MY STORY
I’m a multipreneur with over nine years of self-employment experience, during which I have founded and successfully operated eight businesses. My entrepreneurial journey is one of creativity, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. With each business venture, I continue to break barriers, pursue growth, and remain dedicated to realizing my fullest potential. My entrepreneurial story began in 2012 when I launched my career as a Makeup Artist. I immersed myself in the world of beauty, where I not only developed my artistic skills but also learned the ins and outs of building a business from the ground up. This venture ignited my passion for entrepreneurship and set the stage for everything that came after.
In 2016, I expanded my skill set into the technical field of computer configuration, working with various government departments under RVD contracts. This new role allowed me to combine my problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of operations, marking my entry into the tech industry. My ability to adapt and diversify set the foundation for the many changes that would follow. By 2018, I was in the process of completing my online Bookkeeping program thorugh Algonquin College and expanded into the world of financial services, becoming a Bookkeeping Consultant. In this role, I helped businesses manage their finances with precision and care. As I gained experience in the financial world, I realized I could offer more—so in 2020, I became a licensed Financial Advisor. With this new certification, I was able to help both individuals and businesses take control of their financial future, guiding them toward success with the knowledge I had gained over the years. In 2021, my passion for beauty and business intersected once again when I founded Eiralize Lashes, my first product-based company. This was a natural extension of my earlier work as a makeup artist, and it allowed me to marry creativity with entrepreneurship. The success of Eiralize Lashes was just the beginning. In 2023, I launched Eiralize Dreams, a venture that combines my love for artistry and my cultural roots.
At Eiralize Dreams, I create handmade, modern, and aesthetic Dreamcatchers. This business holds deep personal significance for me, as it allows me to reconnect with my Indigenous heritage and bring healing to others through my creations. By blending contemporary design with traditional symbolism, I create pieces that not only enhance spaces but also carry spiritual meaning. My journey continued with the co-founding of Indigenous Market, an event planning company dedicated to empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs. The goal of Indigenous Market is to create an inclusive and thriving marketplace that provides exhibition space to Indigenous businesses. Our mission is to foster economic growth, preserve cultural heritage, and remove socio-economic barriers, allowing Indigenous talents to flourish. We also expanded the initiative into event planning, offering a unique Indigenous perspective on event coordination and execution.
Alongside my ventures, I’ve recently embarked on a new chapter as a motivational speaker. I am passionate about sharing my journey to inspire others—especially the youth and fellow entrepreneurs. By sharing the challenges I’ve faced and the lessons I’ve learned along the way, I hope to encourage others to pursue their dreams and break through the barriers they face. Each of my businesses represents a distinct chapter in my entrepreneurial journey, marked by innovation, resilience, and growth. Managing multiple businesses simultaneously has certainly been challenging, but it has also taught me invaluable lessons in time management, adaptability, and creative problem-solving. Along the way, I’ve learned to embrace the difficulties and use them as opportunities for growth. Throughout my journey, I’ve faced burnout and moments of overwhelming pressure. These experiences forced me to reassess my approach to work-life balance. I realized that maintaining my health and well-being was crucial for long-term success. By prioritizing self-care, delegating tasks, and adopting strategies for stress management, I’ve been able to build a more sustainable and fulfilling lifestyle that allows me to continue growing my businesses while preserving my personal happiness.
One of the benefits of having a diverse portfolio of businesses is the ability to mitigate risk and capitalize on various revenue streams. Diversification has not only protected me from the volatility of any one industry but has also sparked new ideas and innovations across ventures. Insights from one business often inspire solutions for another, creating synergies that drive collective growth. Managing multiple businesses has also broadened my perspective, giving me a deeper understanding of different industries and consumer behaviors. This cross-pollination of ideas has resulted in countless opportunities for collaboration and innovation, making my journey all the more dynamic and rewarding. While being a multipreneur is not without its challenges, the rewards of diversification and growth far outweigh the obstacles. Through resilience, adaptability, and a tireless commitment to excellence, I continue to navigate the ever-evolving world of entrepreneurship. I embrace the struggles, as they fuel my drive for progress and innovation.
As I look toward the future, I remain focused on my personal and professional growth. I am more selective about the projects and commitments I take on, prioritizing quality over quantity in 2025 and beyond. By staying aligned with my values and passions, I strive to create lasting impact through my businesses and my advocacy, leaving a legacy of empowerment, resilience, and creativity for future generations.
